Savitri Bai Phule
Savitri Bai Phule was a pioneering Indian social reformer born on January 3, 1831, in Naigaon, Maharashtra. She is best known for her efforts in promoting women's education and fighting against caste discrimination. Along with her husband, Jyotirao Phule, she established the first girls' school in India in 1848, which aimed to empower women through education.
