Samoyedic people
The Samoyedic people are an indigenous group primarily found in the northern regions of Siberia, Russia. They belong to the larger Uralic language family and traditionally speak languages such as Nenets, Enets, and Nganasan. Their lifestyle has historically revolved around reindeer herding, fishing, and hunting, adapting to the harsh Arctic environment.
Samoyedic culture is rich in oral traditions, music, and crafts, often reflecting their close relationship with nature. They have a unique spiritual belief system that includes animism, where natural elements are believed to possess spirits. Today, many Samoyedic people continue to maintain their cultural practices while also integrating into modern society.
