Sadza
Sadza is a staple food in Zimbabwe, made from finely ground cornmeal, also known as maize. It is cooked by mixing the cornmeal with water and stirring until it thickens to a smooth, dough-like consistency. Sadza is typically served as a side dish and is often accompanied by various meats, vegetables, or stews.
This dish is not only popular in Zimbabwe but also in other countries in southern Africa, where it may be referred to by different names, such as ugali in Kenya and nsima in Malawi. Sadza is an essential part of the local diet, providing a significant source of carbohydrates.
