SATs
The SATs, or Scholastic Assessment Tests, are standardized tests used for college admissions in the United States. They assess a student's readiness for college by measuring skills in areas such as reading, writing, and mathematics. The test is typically taken by high school students in their junior or senior years.
The SAT consists of multiple-choice questions and an optional essay section. Scores range from 400 to 1600, combining results from the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and Math sections. Many colleges and universities consider SAT scores as part of their admissions process, alongside other factors like GPA and extracurricular activities.
