Robert Gordon of Straloch
Robert Gordon of Straloch was a Scottish geographer and cartographer born in 1580. He is best known for his work in mapping Scotland and producing the first comprehensive atlas of the country, titled Geographiae Scotiae. His maps were notable for their detail and accuracy, contributing significantly to the understanding of Scotland's geography during the 17th century.
