Rice Fields
Rice fields are flat, flooded areas where rice plants grow. These fields are typically found in regions with warm climates and plenty of water, such as Southeast Asia and parts of China. Farmers prepare the land by tilling the soil and creating small bunds, or levees, to hold water.
The rice plants are usually planted in rows and require a lot of water to thrive. During the growing season, the fields are kept flooded to protect the plants from weeds and pests. Once the rice is ready for harvest, the water is drained, and the plants are cut down for processing.
