Rani Ki Vav is a stepwell located in Patan, Gujarat, India. Built in the 11th century during the reign of the Solanki dynasty, it was constructed as a tribute to Queen Udayamati in memory of her husband, King Bhimdev I. The stepwell is renowned for its intricate carvings and architectural brilliance, showcasing the artistry of the period. The structure features seven levels of stairs adorned with numerous sculptures and reliefs depicting deities, celestial nymphs, and mythological figures. In 2014, Rani Ki Vav was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, highlighting its cultural significance and historical value.
