Queen Sophia of Greece
Queen Sophia of Greece was born on June 26, 1870, in Berlin, Germany. She was the daughter of King Frederick VIII of Denmark and Queen Louise of Denmark. Sophia became the Queen consort of Greece when she married King Constantine I in 1889.
Throughout her life, Queen Sophia was known for her charitable work and support of various social causes. She played a significant role during World War I, advocating for humanitarian efforts. Sophia was also a member of the Greek Orthodox Church and was involved in promoting education and health initiatives in Greece.
