Queen Mary of Teck
Queen Mary of Teck was born on May 26, 1867, in Kensington Palace, London. She was the daughter of Prince Francis of Teck and Princess Mary Adelaide of Cambridge. In 1893, she married Prince George, Duke of York, who later became King George V of the United Kingdom.
As queen consort from 1910 until her husband's death in 1936, Queen Mary was known for her strong sense of duty and support for the monarchy. She played a significant role in royal events and was involved in various charitable activities, helping to modernize the royal family’s public image.
