Queen Frederica of Greece
Queen Frederica of Greece was born on April 18, 1917, in Berlin, Germany. She was the daughter of Prince Louis of Prussia and Princess Alexandrine of Prussia. Frederica became the queen consort of Greece when she married King Paul of Greece in 1938. She played a significant role in Greek society and was known for her charitable work and support of the arts.
During her time as queen, Frederica faced numerous challenges, including the political turmoil in Greece and the impact of World War II. After the monarchy was abolished in 1973, she lived in exile until her death on February 6, 1981, in Madrid, Spain.
