Princess Alexandrine of Prussia was born on August 24, 1879, in Berlin, Germany. She was the daughter of Prince Friedrich Karl of Prussia and Princess Maria Anna of Anhalt. Alexandrine belonged to the House of Hohenzollern, a prominent royal family in Germany. In 1904, she married Prince Ernst August of Hanover, becoming the Duchess of Cumberland. The couple had three children and lived primarily in Hanover. Alexandrine was known for her charitable work and involvement in social causes, particularly during and after World War I. She passed away on December 21, 1952.
