Queen Alia
Queen Alia was the wife of King Hussein of Jordan and served as the Queen consort of Jordan from 1972 until her untimely death in 1977. Born on December 18, 1948, in Cairo, Egypt, she was known for her dedication to social causes and her efforts in improving the lives of women and children in Jordan.
Tragically, Queen Alia died in a helicopter crash on February 9, 1977. Her legacy continues through various charitable organizations and initiatives that focus on education and health, reflecting her commitment to the welfare of the Jordanian people.
