Princess Anna of Saxe-Altenburg
Princess Anna of Saxe-Altenburg was born on December 18, 1836, in Altenburg, Germany. She was a member of the House of Saxe-Altenburg and the daughter of Joseph, Duke of Saxe-Altenburg and Amalie of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach.
In 1857, Anna married Georg, Duke of Saxe-Meiningen, strengthening the ties between the two duchies. The couple had several children, contributing to the lineage of European nobility. Anna passed away on April 4, 1903, leaving behind a legacy connected to the rich history of German royalty.
