Portuguese-speaking Countries
Portuguese-speaking countries, also known as the Lusophone world, primarily include Brazil, Portugal, Angola, Mozambique, Guinea-Bissau, Cape Verde, and São Tomé and Príncipe. These nations share the Portuguese language due to historical colonization and trade, making them part of a unique cultural and linguistic community.
In addition to these countries, East Timor and Equatorial Guinea also recognize Portuguese as an official language. The Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP) promotes cooperation among these nations, fostering cultural exchange and economic collaboration while celebrating their shared heritage.
