Philippa of France
Philippa of France was a medieval princess born in 1314, the daughter of King Philip VI of France and Queen Joan of France. She is best known for her marriage to King Edward III of England in 1328, which helped strengthen the ties between England and France during a time of political tension.
As queen consort, Philippa played a significant role in the English court and was known for her charitable works and support of the arts. She had several children, including Edward, the Black Prince, who became a prominent figure in the Hundred Years' War. Philippa's legacy is remembered for her influence on both English and French history.
