Paris Attacks
The Paris Attacks refer to a series of coordinated terrorist attacks that occurred in Paris, France, on November 13, 2015. The attacks targeted multiple locations, including the Bataclan concert hall, restaurants, and the Stade de France. A total of 130 people were killed, and hundreds more were injured, making it one of the deadliest attacks in Europe in recent years.
The attacks were carried out by members of the extremist group ISIS, which claimed responsibility shortly after. In response, the French government declared a state of emergency and launched military operations against ISIS in Syria and Iraq. The events led to increased security measures across Europe and heightened discussions on terrorism and national security.
