Ogyen Trinley Dorje
Ogyen Trinley Dorje is a prominent figure in Tibetan Buddhism, recognized as the 17th Karmapa, a title given to the head of the Kagyu school. Born in 1985 in Tibet, he was identified as the reincarnation of the 16th Karmapa, Rangjung Rigpe Dorje, at a young age. He has played a significant role in promoting Buddhist teachings and practices worldwide.
In 1999, Ogyen Trinley Dorje escaped to India, where he has since been involved in various humanitarian efforts and educational initiatives. He is known for his teachings on compassion and mindfulness, and he continues to attract followers from around the globe.
