Nouri Al-Saeed
Nouri Al-Saeed was an influential Iraqi politician and prime minister, serving multiple terms from the 1930s to the 1950s. Al-Saeed was a key figure during the monarchy and was involved in various political reforms.
Born in 1888, Al-Saeed was educated in the Ottoman Empire and later became a military officer. His leadership was marked by efforts to strengthen Iraq's ties with Britain and the United States. He was assassinated in 1958 during a coup that ended the monarchy in Iraq.
