Namul
Namul refers to a variety of seasoned vegetable dishes commonly found in Korean cuisine. These dishes are made from a range of edible greens, roots, and other vegetables, which are typically blanched or sautéed before being mixed with seasonings like sesame oil, garlic, and soy sauce. Namul can be served as a side dish or as part of a larger meal.
There are many types of namul, each highlighting different ingredients and flavors. Some popular examples include spinach namul (sigeumchi-namul) and bean sprout namul (kongnamul). Namul is not only nutritious but also adds vibrant colors and textures to a meal.
