Muhammad Baqir Majlisi
Muhammad Baqir Majlisi was a prominent Shia Islamic scholar born in 1627 in Isfahan, Persia. He is best known for his extensive works on Hadith, the sayings and actions of the Prophet Muhammad, and for compiling the famous collection known as Bihar al-Anwar, which encompasses a wide range of Islamic teachings and history.
Majlisi played a significant role in the development of Shia theology and jurisprudence. He served as a leading cleric and was influential in promoting the Twelfth Imam concept within Shia Islam. His contributions helped shape the religious landscape of the Shia community during the Safavid period.
