Mongolian Democracy
Mongolian democracy refers to the political system in Mongolia that emerged after the peaceful transition from a one-party socialist state to a multi-party democracy in the early 1990s. This change was marked by the 1990 Democratic Revolution, which led to the adoption of a new constitution in 1992, establishing a parliamentary system and guaranteeing civil liberties.
Since then, Mongolia has held regular elections, allowing citizens to participate in the political process. The country has experienced a vibrant political landscape, with multiple parties competing for power, although challenges such as corruption and economic issues remain.
