Mohamed Morsi
Mohamed Morsi was an Egyptian politician and member of the Muslim Brotherhood. He served as the first democratically elected President of Egypt from June 2012 until July 2013. Morsi was a key figure during the Egyptian Revolution of 2011, which led to the ousting of long-time President Hosni Mubarak.
His presidency faced significant challenges, including economic issues and political unrest. In July 2013, Morsi was removed from office by the military, led by General Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, following mass protests against his rule. Morsi was later imprisoned and faced various legal charges until his death in 2022.
