Abdel Fattah el-Sisi
Abdel Fattah el-Sisi is an Egyptian politician and retired military officer who has been serving as the President of Egypt since June 2014. He came to power after leading the military's ousting of former President Mohamed Morsi in July 2013. El-Sisi was previously the Minister of Defense and played a significant role in the military's involvement in Egyptian politics.
As president, el-Sisi has focused on economic reforms, infrastructure development, and combating terrorism. His administration has faced criticism for human rights issues and restrictions on freedom of expression. Despite this, he remains a prominent figure in Egyptian politics and has been re-elected for a second term in 2018.
