Mary Tudor, Queen of France
Mary Tudor, Queen of France, was born on March 18, 1496, as the daughter of Henry VII of England and Elizabeth of York. She became the queen consort of Louis XII of France after their marriage in 1514. Mary was known for her beauty and charm, which helped strengthen the alliance between England and France.
After Louis XII's death in 1515, Mary returned to England. She later married Charles Brandon, the Duke of Suffolk, without royal permission, which caused a scandal. Mary Tudor passed away on June 25, 1533, leaving a legacy as a significant figure in the Tudor dynasty.
