Louis VII
Louis VII was the King of France from 1137 to 1180. He was a member of the Capetian dynasty and is known for his participation in the Second Crusade. His reign was marked by conflicts with the nobility and struggles to maintain control over his territories.
Louis VII was married to Eleanor of Aquitaine, one of the most powerful women of the time, but their marriage ended in divorce. He later married Constance of Castile. Despite his challenges, Louis VII worked to strengthen the French monarchy and improve its administration during his reign.
