Louis II of Provence
Louis II of Provence was a king who ruled from 877 to 879. He was a member of the Carolingian dynasty and the son of Louis the Stammerer. His reign was marked by political instability and challenges from rival factions within the kingdom.
During his rule, Louis II faced threats from the Vikings and internal disputes among the nobility. His short reign ended when he died in 879, leading to further fragmentation of the Frankish Empire. After his death, his territories were divided among his heirs, contributing to the decline of centralized power in the region.
