Kiwai Language
The Kiwai language is an indigenous language spoken by the Kiwai people, primarily located in the Western Province of Papua New Guinea. It belongs to the Trans-New Guinea language family and is one of the many languages that reflect the rich cultural diversity of the region.
Kiwai is primarily an oral language, with a small number of speakers using it in written form. Efforts are being made to document and preserve the language, as it faces challenges from dominant languages in the area, such as Tok Pisin and English.
