King Amenemhat I
King Amenemhat I was the first ruler of the Twelfth Dynasty of ancient Egypt, reigning from around 1991 to 1962 BCE. He is known for establishing a strong centralized government and promoting economic stability. Amenemhat I moved the capital to Itjtawy, which helped to strengthen his control over the country.
During his reign, Amenemhat I initiated various building projects, including temples and fortifications. He also encouraged trade and military expeditions, which contributed to Egypt's wealth.
