Amenemhat I
Amenemhat I was the first pharaoh of the Twelfth Dynasty of ancient Egypt, ruling from around 1991 to 1962 BCE. He is known for establishing a strong central government and initiating significant building projects, including the construction of the Lahun pyramid. His reign marked a period of stability and prosperity in Egypt.
Amenemhat I also promoted the arts and literature, encouraging the creation of works that celebrated his achievements. He is often credited with the development of the Wisdom Literature, which provided moral and practical guidance.
