Indra Jatra
Indra Jatra is a traditional festival celebrated in Kathmandu, Nepal, marking the end of the monsoon season. It honors Indra, the Hindu god of rain and heaven, and features various cultural activities, including processions, dances, and rituals. During Indra Jatra, a large chariot carrying the Kumari, the living goddess, is paraded through the streets.
