India's Chandrayaan Program
India's Chandrayaan Program is a series of lunar exploration missions developed by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). The program aims to study the Moon's surface, mineral composition, and potential resources, enhancing our understanding of lunar geology and the solar system.
The first mission, Chandrayaan-1, launched in 2008, successfully discovered water molecules on the Moon. Following this, Chandrayaan-2 was launched in 2019, featuring an orbiter, lander, and rover. The orbiter continues to send valuable data, while the lander aimed to explore the lunar south pole, marking India's growing capabilities in space exploration.
