Chandrayaan Program
The Chandrayaan Program is India's lunar exploration initiative, managed by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). It aims to study the Moon's surface, mineral composition, and potential resources. The program includes multiple missions, with Chandrayaan-1 launched in 2008 being the first, which discovered water molecules on the lunar surface.
Following its success, Chandrayaan-2 was launched in 2019, featuring an orbiter, lander, and rover. The orbiter continues to send valuable data about the Moon, while the lander aimed to explore the south pole region. Future missions, like Chandrayaan-3, are planned to further enhance our understanding of the Moon.
