Holbein
Hans Holbein the Younger was a German-Swiss painter and printmaker, born around 1497. He is best known for his detailed portraits and his work in the Northern Renaissance style. Holbein's art often depicted prominent figures of his time, including members of the Tudor court in England, where he spent much of his career.
Holbein's most famous works include the portraits of King Henry VIII and Thomas More. His ability to capture the likeness and personality of his subjects made him one of the most sought-after artists of his era. Holbein's influence continues to be felt in the art world today.
