Himalaya Mountain
The Himalaya Mountain range is the highest mountain range in the world, stretching across five countries: India, Nepal, Bhutan, China, and Pakistan. It includes some of the planet's tallest peaks, including Mount Everest, which stands at 8,848 meters (29,029 feet) above sea level. The range was formed by the collision of the Indian and Eurasian tectonic plates millions of years ago.
The Himalayas are not only known for their towering peaks but also for their diverse ecosystems and rich cultural heritage. The region is home to various flora and fauna, including endangered species like the snow leopard. Additionally, the mountains hold significant spiritual importance for many, with numerous sacred sites and pilgrimage routes attracting visitors from around the world.
