Henrik Lundqvist is a retired Swedish professional ice hockey goaltender, widely regarded as one of the best in the sport's history. He played the majority of his career with the New York Rangers in the NHL, where he became known for his exceptional skills, quick reflexes, and calm demeanor on the ice. Lundqvist was drafted 205th overall in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft and made his debut in 2005.
During his career, Lundqvist earned numerous accolades, including the Vezina Trophy for best goaltender in 2012.
