Hashemite
The term "Hashemite" refers to the royal family of Jordan, which claims descent from the Prophet Muhammad through his daughter Fatimah and son-in-law Ali. The Hashemite dynasty has played a significant role in the history of the Arab world, particularly in the establishment of the modern state of Jordan in 1946.
The Hashemites also have historical ties to the Hejaz, a region in present-day Saudi Arabia, where they ruled as kings until the early 20th century. Today, the current king, Abdullah II, continues to lead Jordan, emphasizing stability and peace in the region.
