Gumuz People
The Gumuz people are an ethnic group primarily found in the northwestern region of Ethiopia. The Gumuz language, also called Gumuz, belongs to the Nilo-Saharan language family. The community has a strong connection to their land and often practices subsistence farming, growing crops like sorghum and millet. Their social structure is organized around clans, and they maintain a deep respect for their customs and traditions.
