Government of Ireland
The Government of Ireland is the executive branch of the Irish State, responsible for implementing laws and managing public services. It is led by the Taoiseach, who is the head of government, and supported by ministers in charge of various departments. The government operates within a parliamentary system, where members are elected by the public.
The government is formed by the Dáil Éireann, the lower house of the Oireachtas, which is the national parliament. The Senate, or Seanad Éireann, serves as the upper house, providing additional scrutiny of legislation. Together, these bodies work to ensure effective governance and representation for the people of Ireland.
