Gobi Çölü
Gobi Çölü, or the Gobi Desert, is a vast desert region located in Mongolia and northern China. It spans approximately 1,295,000 square kilometers, making it one of the largest deserts in the world. The Gobi is characterized by its harsh climate, with extreme temperature variations between summer and winter.
The desert features a mix of sand dunes, mountains, and rocky outcrops. Despite its arid conditions, the Gobi is home to unique wildlife, including the endangered Bactrian camel and the Gobi bear. The region also has significant historical importance, as it was part of the ancient Silk Road trade route.
