Fufa
Fufa is a traditional fermented beverage popular in parts of East Africa, particularly in Uganda. It is made from a mixture of maize (corn) and sorghum, which are ground and then fermented with water. The fermentation process gives Fufa its unique sour taste and thick consistency, making it a staple food for many communities.
Fufa is often served with various accompaniments, such as sauce or stew, and is enjoyed during meals or special occasions. It is not only a source of nutrition but also plays a significant role in local culture and social gatherings, reflecting the culinary heritage of the region.
