Flag of Jordan
The Flag of Jordan features three horizontal stripes of black, white, and green, representing the historical Arab Revolt. A red triangle extends from the hoist side, symbolizing the blood shed for independence. The flag's colors are associated with the Pan-Arab colors, which represent Arab unity and independence.
In the center of the red triangle, there is a white seven-pointed star. This star symbolizes the seven verses of the Jordanian national anthem and represents the unity of the Jordanian people. The flag was officially adopted on April 18, 1928, and reflects the nation's heritage and aspirations.
