Ferdinand IV of Naples
Ferdinand IV of Naples was born on January 12, 1751, and became King of Naples in 1759. He was a member of the House of Bourbon and ruled during a time of significant political change in Europe. His reign was marked by the influence of the Enlightenment and the challenges posed by the French Revolution.
Ferdinand IV's rule was interrupted by the French invasion in 1799, leading to his temporary exile. He returned to the throne in 1800 but faced ongoing conflicts, including the Napoleonic Wars. He ultimately lost his crown in 1806 and died on January 4, 1825.
