Falange Española
The Falange Española is a Spanish political party founded in 1933 by José Antonio Primo de Rivera. It was established as a fascist movement, promoting nationalism and traditional values. The party aimed to unite various right-wing factions in Spain and opposed communism and socialism.
During the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), the Falange aligned with the Nationalist forces led by General Francisco Franco. After the war, it became the sole legal party in Spain, playing a significant role in the Franco regime until the country's transition to democracy in the late 1970s.
