Eridanus Group
The Eridanus Group is a collection of galaxies located in the constellation of Eridanus. It is part of the larger Eridanus constellation, which is known for its distinctive river-like shape in the night sky. The group primarily consists of several spiral and elliptical galaxies, with the most notable being NGC 142, NGC 153, and NGC 155.
This galaxy group is relatively close to our own Milky Way galaxy, making it an interesting subject for astronomers studying galaxy formation and interaction. The Eridanus Group is also part of the broader Local Supercluster, which contains many other galaxy groups and clusters.
