Local Supercluster
A Local Supercluster is a large group of galaxies that are gravitationally bound together. It includes our own galaxy, the Milky Way, along with several others, such as the Andromeda Galaxy and the Triangulum Galaxy. This supercluster is part of a larger structure known as the Laniakea Supercluster, which contains thousands of galaxies.
The Local Supercluster spans about 10 million light-years and is located in the Virgo Cluster, which is the most prominent cluster within it. The galaxies within this supercluster are moving towards a common center, known as the Great Attractor, due to gravitational forces.
