Edward de Clare, 5th Earl of Hertford
Edward de Clare, 5th Earl of Hertford, was born in 1536 and became a prominent English nobleman during the Tudor period. He was the son of Edward de Clare, 4th Earl of Hertford and Anne Seymour, the daughter of Edward Seymour, 1st Duke of Somerset. Edward inherited the title of Earl of Hertford in 1543 after his father's death.
Throughout his life, Edward was involved in various political and military affairs. He served in the court of Queen Elizabeth I and was known for his loyalty to the crown. Edward de Clare passed away in 1621, leaving behind a legacy tied to the English aristocracy.
