Edward de Clare, 4th Earl of Hertford
Edward de Clare, 4th Earl of Hertford, was an English nobleman born in 1536. He was the son of Edward de Clare, 3rd Earl of Hertford and Anne Seymour, the daughter of Edward Seymour, 1st Duke of Somerset. Edward became the Earl of Hertford in 1543 after his father's death and was a prominent figure in the court of Queen Mary I.
He played a significant role in the political landscape of England during the 16th century. Edward was known for his loyalty to the crown and was involved in various military and administrative duties. He passed away in 1621, leaving behind a legacy tied to the Seymour family and the English nobility.
