Anne Seymour
Anne Seymour was an English noblewoman born in 1510. She is best known as the third wife of King Henry VIII and the mother of Queen Elizabeth I. Her marriage to Henry in 1536 was politically motivated, as he sought to secure a male heir.
Anne's reign as queen consort was short-lived, as she died just days after giving birth to Elizabeth in 1533. Despite her brief time in the spotlight, Anne Seymour's legacy continued through her daughter, who became one of England's most famous monarchs, ruling from 1558 to 1603.
