Dacian Language
The Dacian language was an ancient language spoken by the Dacians, a group of tribes that inhabited parts of modern-day Romania and Moldova. It is classified as a member of the Thracian language family, although its exact relationship to other languages remains unclear. The Dacian language is primarily known from a few inscriptions and place names, as well as references in ancient texts.
Due to the limited evidence, the Dacian language is not well understood, and many scholars debate its characteristics and influence. After the Roman conquest of Dacia in 106 AD, the Dacian language gradually declined, giving way to Latin and later Romanian.
