Thracian Language
The Thracian language was an ancient Indo-European language spoken by the Thracians, a group of tribes in Southeast Europe, primarily in what is now Bulgaria, Greece, and Turkey. It is known from a limited number of inscriptions, personal names, and place names, making it difficult to fully understand.
Thracian is classified as a member of the Balkan branch of the Indo-European languages, but its exact relationship to other languages, such as Greek or Latin, remains unclear. The language gradually disappeared as the region became Romanized and assimilated into other cultures.
